Jimmy attended and played baseball at Prior Lake, MN high school. After high school Jimmy was recruited to Kansas State University where he redshirted his freshman year, and was sidelined with a serious health condition soon after. After Jimmy's recovery he transferred to Minnesota State University where he was named 2019 All-NSIC Second Team.
Jimmy's ransferred to Minnesota State University where he was named 2019 All-NSIC Second Team, Appeared in 16 games (11 starts) Compiled a 6-4 record, 2.43 ERA, 96 strikeouts, 30 walks, and 2 saves in 77 and 2/3 innings pitched. Jimmy made two starts on the hill the following year with a 1-0 record and threw 12 scoreless innings with 18 strikeouts and seven walks in 2020 before Covid cut the season short.
JImmy Larson is the husband of Lexi Larson who also provides fastpitch pithing instruction at 24/7 Ball Sports. Both Jimmy and Lexi bring a lot of pitching and life experience to mentor young athletes. Both are willing to work with all age groups.
